How is my money invested?
The funds received by Desjardins Capital régional et coopératif from the people of Québec, are judiciously
invested in businesses and cooperatives located in every region

Who manages the investments?
Desjardins Capital régional et coopératif has entrusted the management of its operations
and its investment portfolio to Desjardins Venture Capital
Group, one of Québec's most important development
capital firms.
Although any decision to invest or divest is made by Desjardins Capital régional et coopératif, the professionals
from Desjardins Venture Capital Group are responsible for
analyzing investment requests and issuing recommendations
related to investing and divesting as well as carrying out
transactions and managing the investment portfolio.
How are the investments
distributed?
Effective on December 31, 2006, and
during each subsequent fiscal year, the Company's investments
in eligible entities must represent at least 60% of the
average net assets of the Company and at least 35% of that
percentage (60%) must be invested in cooperatives and entities
situated in the resource regions of Québec.
The other amounts constitute the liquid portfolio, which
is composed of secure investments that will yield an optimal
return while maintaining an acceptable level of risk for
the total assets of the Company.
