Coop. Agri-Énergie Warwick

Founded in April 2019, Coop Agri-Énergie Warwick is scheduled to be operational in September 2020. An agricultural producers’ cooperative, it will produce natural gas using a biomethanation process for substrates and co-substrates from local farms and the surrounding agri-food sector. In addition, production residuals are returned to the land as fertilizer. The project is an effective response for combating climate change by reducing greenhouse gases. Ultimately, the project is expected to create about ten jobs.
