Ashton

Ashton Snack Bar came to life in a trailer in 1969, serving a typical menu of fries, hamburgers, hot dogs and meatloaf. In 1972, poutine was added to the menu to introduce it to Quebecers, and the first restaurant opened in 1976. The company's success has resulted in 23 Chez Ashton locations to date, all of them 100% Quebec-owned.
