Founded in Nouvelle in 1983, Protection Garvex installs and maintains fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, automatic sprinklers, emergency lighting, surveillance cameras, etc. A fire protection specialist, the company also distributes FirePro suppression products, as well as extinguishers.

With about a dozen employees, Garvex offers 24-hour service in the Bas-St-Laurent, Gaspésie, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Nord-du-Québec and New Brunswick.
